Blender Chocolate Mousse Recipe

Blender chocolate mousse is creamy and chocolately and a favorite among those who love coffee as well. This blender chocolate mousse recipe has been with me for years. Truly a crowd pleaser!

Ingredients

 
1/3 cup hot coffee
 
1 (6 ounce) package semisweet chocolate morsels
 
4 eggs, separated
 
2 tablespoons creme de cacao
 
Whipped cream
 
Sliced toasted almonds

Directions

Combine coffee and chocolate morsels in container of an electric blender; process until smooth.
Add egg yolks and creme de cacao; process 1 minute.
Beat egg whites (at room temperature) at high speed of an electric mixer until stiff peaks form; fold in chocolate mixture.
Spoon into stemmed glasses or individual serving dishes; chill until set.
Garnish with whipped cream and almonds
