Blanquette De Veau Recipe

1 can (10 1/2 ounces) condensed chicken broth
2 pounds veal cubes (about 1 1/2 inches)
2 tablespoons chopped parsley
1 small clove garlic, minced
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon thyme, crushed
Generous dash ground cloves
1 pound (about 16) small whole white onions
2 cups small fresh mushroom caps (about 1/2 pound)
3/4 cup light cream
3 tablespoons flour

Directions
In skillet, combine broth, veal, parsley, garlic, lemon juice, thyme, and cloves.
Cover; cook over low heat 1 hour.
Stir now and then.
Add onions and mushrooms.
Cook 30 minutes more or until meat and vegetables are tender.
Gradually blend cream into flour until smooth; slowly stir into sauce.
Cook, stirring until thickened.
