Looking for a simple dessert recipe, then this baked blackberry cobbler, should be tried. The chef has very well instructed the making of this mouth-watering blackberry cobbler with butter. It has a nice old fashioned taste and is best served warm with vanilla ice-cream.

I recently googled many versions of blackberry cobbler, since I recently picked about a gallon of blackberries. I decided to try your recipe first. I didn't have any baking powder on hand, so I substituted 1 cup of Bisquick for the flour, baking powder and salt. I followed your recipe for the rest and I must say, it has turned out beautiful and scrumptious!! I've made blackberry cobblers before and this one is by far the easiest, delicious, fool-proof recipe I've tried!!! Thanks so much for your post!!!

Hi Celia! How are you? Thank you so much for the kind comments! I'm so happy you were able to try this recipe! This is even better the next day after it has soaked up the juices. Shamefully, we rarely have any leftovers as we gobble it all up... but it is better the next day! 6 lbs of blackberries! Awesome! There's nothing better than fresh blackberries! :-) I hope all is well with you and yours! Hugs coming your way!!!

Hi Amy - it's good to hear from you! I must find out what else I can do with blackberries, although I'm tempted to stick to cobblers now! We gobbled it all up too! Best wishes from West Sussex, England. *{:>)[]=|
