Ingredients

 Sugar2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Flour2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Butter/Margarine3/4 Cup (16 tbs)
 Soda1 Teaspoon
 Blackberry – 1 cup, drained
 Blackberry Juice – 1 cup
 Eggs3 Small
 Cloves1 Teaspoon
 Allspice1 Teaspoon
 Sour milk1/2 Cup (16 tbs)

Directions

MAKING
1) In a bowl, mix together 1/2 cup of butter and 1 cup of sugar till light and fluffy
2) Then add in the eggs
3) In a bowl, sift together the flour, soda and spices together
4) Add the creamed mixture alternating with the milk
5) Mix well and then lightly fold in the blackberries
6) Spoon in the mixture to a 13 x 9 x 2 inch cake pan
7) Bake at 350 degrees for about 50 minutes till the cake is done
8) While the cake is baking, prepare the sauce by mixing sugar and 2 tablespoons of flour in a saucepan, and then add in the blackberry juice
9) Add in the remaining margarine and cook over a low heat till the sauce is thickened
10) Pour the sauce over the cake just before serving

SERVING
11) Serve with cake with the hot sauce
