| Soda | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Flour | 3 1⁄2 Cup (56 tbs) | |
| Baking powder | 2 Teaspoon |

Directions
1) In a bowl, mix together the eggs, sugar, shortening, cinnamon, cloves
2) Using an electric beater cream the mixture
3) Add the blackberries, soda, flour, baking powder and beat well
4) Pour the batter into a 13 x 9 2 inch baking pan
5) Bake at 350F for 40 minutes
SERVING
6) Slice and serve with some whipped cream
