Blackberry Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 1/2 lb blackberries, thawed if frozen | ||
| Sugar | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
Put the blackberries into a saucepan with the sugar.
Cover and cook gently until the blackberries are very soft, about 20 minutes.
Sieve the blackberries and their juice, through a nylon sieve to make a puree.
Add a little more sugar to sweeten, if necessary.
Pour the sauce into a jug and serve hot or cold.
