Blackberry Pie Recipe
Ingredients
Pastry for a 2 crust pie
3 tablespoons flour
1 tablespoon lemon juice
4 cups fresh blackberries
1 tablespoon butter
1 cup sugar
Directions
Line a 9 inch pie pan with half the pastry.
Save remaining pastry for top crust.
Chill both while preparing the blackberries.
Combine berries with flour, sugar, and lemon juice.
Spoon into pie shell and dot with butter.
Cover with top crust slashed in several places.
Bake in a preheated 450° oven for 15 minutes.
Reduce heat to 350° and bake 35 to 40 minutes or until browned.
