Blackberry Cobbler Recipe
Ingredients
4 cup blackberries
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup flour
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup sugar
Directions
Measure 3 cups berries and set aside.
Combine 1 cup berries and water.
Heat.
Mash berries, add water to make 1 cup.
Set aside.
Combine butter, 1/2 cup sugar, flour, salt, baking powder, and milk in mixing bowl.
Beat with electric mixer, Spread batter in greased 10x6 inch baking pan.
Sprinkle berries over batter.
Sprinkle 3 cups berries over all.
Sprinkle top with remaining berries and 1/4 cup sugar.
Cake will rise to top and berries will be on bottom.
Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
