Black Walnut-Sour Cream Cake Recipe
Ingredients
4 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. soda
1 1/2 tsp. ground cardamom
1/2 tsp. mace
1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2c. sour cream
1 c. chopped black walnuts
Confectioners' sugar
Directions
Sift flour, soda, cardamom and mace together.
Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.
Add eggs; beat well.
Add flour mixture and sour cream alternately to egg mixture.
Add walnuts.
Pour into greased and lightly floured bundt pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until cake tests done.
Cool for 5 minutes.
Remove from pan; cool on wire rack.
Dust cake lightly with confectioners' sugar.
