Directions
"Cream 11/2 cups butter and sugar.
Sift flour and baking powder.
Add sifted dry ingredients to sugar mixture alternately with coffee.
Add walnuts.
Fold in egg whites.
Pour into 12 x 7-inch greased and floured pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes or until cake tests done.
Cream 1/3 cup butter and broj«n sugar; add cream and coconut.
Blend thoroughly.
Frost cake while still warm; broil until icing is golden brown.
