Black-Eyed Pea Pinwheels Recipe

Ingredients
1 (15-ounce) can black-eyed peas, drained
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1/4 teaspoon seasoned salt
Two dashes of hot sauce
Dash of garlic powder
2 (3-ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
1 (10-ounce) package 6 x 4-inch ham slices
10 green onions, cut into 6-inch lengths
Directions
Combine black-eyed peas, butter, seasoned salt, hot sauce, and garlic powder in a saucepan, bring to a boil.
Reduce heat, simmer, uncovered, 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Remove pan from heat, and let mixture cool.
Position knife blade in food processor bowl, add black-eyed pea mixture and cream cheese.
Process 3 to 5 seconds.
Stop processor, and scrape sides of bowl with a rubber spatula.
Process an additional 5 seconds or until mixture is well blended.
Spread about 3 tablespoons of pea mixture on each slice of ham, place a strip of green onion lengthwise in middle of ham slice.
Roll up ham lengthwise, chill.
To serve, cut each roll into 1/2-inch slices, and arrange cut side up on a serving platter.
