Black Walnut Bread Recipe
Black walnut bread is a nice and soft nut bread. Prepared at home with a mik and flour batter, it bakes easily and comes out soft and delicious. Serve it with tea or coffee as a snack or use it for breakfast.
Ingredients
3 cups sifted all purpose flour
1 cup chopped black walnuts
4 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
2 eggs
1 cup milk
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup butter, melted
1 teaspoon salt
Directions
Sift flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt together into a mixing bowl, then stir in the nuts.
Beat the eggs, milk, and melted butter, add to flour mixture, and stir until thoroughly blended.
Don't attempt to beat out all the lumps.
Spoon into a greased loaf pan and bake in a preheated 350° oven for 1 hour.
Turn out of pan and cool before serving.
