Black Sesame Soft and Tasty Wonton Crackers Recipe Video
Ingredients
Large egg white - 1
Honey - 2 tablespoons
Soy sauce - 1 teaspoon
Sugar - 2 teaspoons
Coarse salt - 1/2 teaspoon
Black pepper - pinch of
Black sesame seeds - 2 tablespoons
Wonton wrappers - 24, cut on the diagonal
Nonstick cooking spray
Directions
GETTING READY
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
2. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper; set aside.
MAKING
3. In a small bowl, beat egg white. Stir in honey and soy sauce; set aside. In another small bowl, mix together sugar, salt, pepper, and sesame seeds; set aside.
4. Divide wontons evenly between prepared baking sheets, arranging in a single layer. Spray wontons lightly with cooking spray and turn.
5. Using a pastry brush, generously brush wonton wrappers with egg-white mixture and sprinkle with sesame-seed mixture.
6. Bake until golden and crisp, rotating pans halfway through baking, 7 to 9 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool on pans about 5 minutes, before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
SERVING
7. Serve the peppers as the side dish.
