Directions

1) Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Butter a 9" square pan.
2) Melt the chocolate. Let cool until warm.
3) Cream the butter and beat in the salt, coffee, pepper, vanilla, and sugar until mixture is well blended. Add the eggs one by one, beating lightly. Add in the chocolate and the flour, beating lightly. Stir in the pecans.
4) Pour the mixture into the pan, smooth the top, and bake for 25 to 30 minutes until brownies are moist. Let cool for 20 minutes. Refrigerate until firm.
