Black Olive Tapenade Recipe
This black olive tapanade is a flavorful provencal dish that is often used with fish for baking. Prepared with pureed olives and red pepper, the tapanade is flavored with a dash of lemon juice and oregano with garlic to taste. Combined with feta cheese, it is chilled before use.
Ingredients
1 can (6 ounces) pitted ripe olives, drained
1/4 cup chopped red pepper
3 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 1/2 teaspoons dried oregano leaves
1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
1/2 cup (3 ounces) crumbled Feta Natural Cheese
Directions
Place all ingredients except cheese in blender or food processor container fitted with steel blade; cover.
Process until smooth.
Stir in cheese.
Refrigerate several hours or overnight.
