Black Forest Chocolate Mousse Recipe
Ingredients
| 2 bars (4 oz. each) Semi-Sweet Chocolate | ||
| Warm water | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Whipping cream | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Sugar | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Finch salt | ||
| Liqueur | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Sour cream | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 6 whole maraschino cherries | ||
Directions
In double boiler, melt chocolate with water over 1-inch simmering water, stirring until smooth.
Whip cream with sugar and salt.
Gradually add melted chocolate and Kirsch, beating at low speed until smooth.
Fold in sour cream.
Spoon into serving dishes.
Drop one cherry on side of each dessert dish.
Chill.
