Black Currant Sauce Recipe

1/4 cup black currants
1/2 cup water
1/2 tsp salted butter
2 tsp sugar
1 tsp cornflour
Directions
Soak black currants in water for 1-2 hours.
Blend in a mixer to a puree.
Dissolve cornflour in the puree.
Add sugar too.
Cook on low flame, stirring continuously, till it attains a thick coating consistency.
Add butter.
Mix well.
Remove from fire.
A few drops of lemon juice may be added.
