Black Cherry Conserve Recipe
Ingredients
| Oranges | 2 , thinly sliced | |
| Black cherries | 4 Cup (16 tbs), pitted | |
| Sugar | 3 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Lemon juice | 1 | |
| Slivered almonds | 1 Cup (16 tbs) |
Directions
Cover the orange slices with water and bring to a boil.
Boil until soft.
Add remaining ingredients except the almonds and boil until thick and clear.
Add the almonds and boil for 2 minutes.
Pour into hot sterilized jars and seal.
