Quick Black Bean Soup Recipe

Ingredients

 
1 can (10 1/2 oz.) condensed black bean soup
 
1 can(10 1/2 oz.) condensed beef consomme
 
1 tablespoon sherry, Madeira, or lemon juice
 
1 tablespoon rum (optional)
 
1 lemon, thinly sliced
 
3 hard-cooked eggs
 
Minced parsley

Directions

Put in the blender the black bean soup, consomme, sherry, and rum; blend until smooth.
Pour into a pan and heat, but do not boil.
Spoon into bowls; float a lemon slice on top of each serving; sprinkle with sieved hard-cooked egg yolks, chopped egg whites, and parsley.
