Black Bean Rarebit Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 10 3/4-ounce can condensed black-bean soup, undiluted | ||
| Shredded Cheddar cheese | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Chili Sauce | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 4 toast slices | ||
| Butter or margarine | ||
| Tomato | 8 | |
Directions
1. In saucepan heat soup with cheese and chili sauce until cheese is melted and mixture is hot, stirring occasionally.
2. Meanwhile, cut toast slices into triangles; butter them; then arrange 2 on each of 4 luncheon plates.
3. Spoon rarebit mixture over top of each toast triangle; then top each triangle with a tomato wedge. Serve hot. Nice as luncheon dish with fruit salad.
