 Black beans2 Can (10oz)
 Tomato sauce1 Can (10oz)
 Sweet green pepper - 1 cup, frozen, chopped
 Onion - 1 medium-size (1/2 cup) , chopped
 Garlic1 Clove (5gm), finely chopped
 Bottled salsa jalapeno - 2 tablespoons OR salsa picante - 1/4 cup
 Chili powder1 Tablespoon
 Cumin - 1/2 teaspoon, grounded
 Tortilla chips1 Cup (16 tbs)
 Dairy sour cream1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Cheddar Cheese1/2 Cup (16 tbs), shredded
 Iceberg lettuce2 Cup (16 tbs), shredded
 Additional salsa, for garnish

Directions

GETTING READY

1) Preheat the oven at 300 degrees for 3 minutes.

MAKING

2) Take a saucepan and add the black beans along with the liquid. Add tomato sauce, green pepper, garlic, onion, chili powder, salsa and cumin.
3) Bring the mixture to boil and cook for 15 minutes on low heat.
4) Take the baking sheet and put the tortilla chips. Warm the chips in the preheated oven for 5 minutes.

SERVING

5) Put the tortilla chips into 4 different bowls. Add the chili over the chips.
6) Garnish the dish with sour cream, cheddar cheese, lettuce and salsa.
