 Eggs4 Large
 Sugar1/4 Cup (16 tbs)
 Flour1/3 Cup (16 tbs)
 1/2 teaspoon lemon rind
 Butter2 Tablespoon
 Bitter orange3 Tablespoon
  Marmalade or jam
 Powdered sugar1 Tablespoon

Directions

Beat egg yolks till pale in color, add sugar, beat, then add flour & rind.
Beat egg whites well, pour in the egg yolks mixture, stir carefully.
Brush 9x14-inch baking pan with one tablespoon of butter, line with wax paper, and brush over with butter.
Pour the batter into the pan.
Bake in a preheated 400 degree oven for about 10-15 minutes, or until cake seems done.
Cut the cake into two, then cut each piece into two again.
Now you have 4 sheets of about 9x3-inch each.
Make a four layer cake, spreading the jam in between layers.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
Cut desired size for breakfast.
