Original Bisquick® mix - 2 cups 


 
Milk - 2/3 cup 


 
Cheddar cheese - 1/2 cup (2 ounces), shredded 

 
Butter or margarine - 2 tablespoons 


 
Garlic powder - 1/8 teaspoon
 
Classic Strawberry Shortcakes


 
Strawberries - 1 quart (4 cups), sliced
 
Sugar - 1/4 cup 


 
Original Bisquick® mix - 2 1/3 cups 


 
Milk - 1/2 cup 


 
Sugar - 3 tablespoons 


 
Butter or margarine - 3 tablespoons, melted


 
Whipping cream - 1/2 cup

Directions

Cheese Garlic Biscuits
GETTING READY
1. Heat oven to 450ºF.

MAKING
2. In a bowl, combine Bisquick mix, milk and cheese until soft dough forms.
3. Add spoonfuls of the dough on an ungreased cookie sheet.
4. Bake it in the oven at 450ºF for 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown.
5. In a bowl, combine melted butter and garlic powder.
6. Brush this mixture over warm biscuits.

SERVING
7. Serve Cheese Garlic Biscuits with tea or even meals like chicken and lasagna.

Classic Strawberry Shortcakes

GETTING READY
1. Heat oven to 425°F.

MAKING
2. In large bowl, mix strawberries with 1/4 cup sugar. Keep it aside.
3. In a large bowl, combine Bisquick mix, milk, 3 tablespoons sugar and melted butter or margarine. Mix it to make soft dough.
4. Scoop this dough by a spoon on an ungreased cookie sheet.
5. Bake it in an oven for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown.
6. In a small bowl, beat whipping cream with electric mixer on high speed until soft peaks form.
7. After the cookies are done, keep it aside to cool and cut it into half.

SERVING
8. To serve Classic Strawberry Shortcake layer one half of the cookie with strawberries and whipped cream and close it with the other half of the cookie. Top it again with strawberries and whipped cream and your dessert is ready!
