Alcohol Flavored Biscuit Tortoni Recipe
Biscuit Tortini has an Improbable taste. The Cream and eggs gives the Biscuit Tortini Bracing taste. Biscuit Tortini makes a wonderful ending to a family meal
Ingredients
1 1/4 cups cream
2 egg whites
1/2 cup castor sugar
1/2 cup almonds, blanched and chopped
3 tablespoons sherry, marsala or cognac
Directions
Whip cream until thick.
Whisk egg whites until stiff, add sugar slowly and continuously, whisking all the time (as for a meringue)Toast chopped almonds until golden, cool and reserve 2 tablespoons for decoration.
Fold rest of toasted almonds into whipped cream along with whisked egg white.
Stir in sherry or marsala or cognac.
Spoon into 12-16 small fluted paper cups or 6-8 custard cups.
Sprinkle with reserved almonds and freeze until set.
