Biscuit Meat Pie Recipe
Ingredients
| Stew meat | 3 Cup (48 tbs), cubed | |
| Whole wheat flour | 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs) | |
| Cooking oil | 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) | |
| Chopped onion | 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) | |
| Water | 4 Cup (64 tbs) | |
| Carrots | 3 Large, peeled, cubed | |
| Potato | 1 Large, peeled, cubed | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1⁄4 Teaspoon | |
| Saltine cracker | 25 Gram | |
| Frozen peas | 1 Cup (16 tbs) |

Directions
Add onion, and saute.
Stir in water, carrots, potato, salt, and pepper.
Cover, and simmer on low heat until vegetables and meat are tender.
While the stew is simmering, prepare Soda Biscuits according to instructions.
Roll out dough 1/2 inch thick and large enough to cover the top of a 2 quart casserole dish.
Fold the dough in half, and cut a slit in the center.
Add the peas to the meat and vegetables, and pour mixture into casserole dish.
Place the dough on top, unfold, and press lightly to seal edges.
Bake in a 350° F.
Oven for 30 to 35 minutes or until the biscuit is golden brown.
