Biscuit Dumplings Recipe

Ingredients
Sifted flour- 2 cups
Baking powder- 2 teaspoons
Salt- 1 teaspoon
Shortening- 1/4 cup
Milk- 3/4 cup
Directions
MAKING
1.In a bowl, sift flour, baking powder, and salt together
2.Now cut in shortening using pastry blender
3.Also add milk, to make the a soft dough
4.Now pat out 1/2 inch thick and cut into 1 inch squares, in shapes of strips or diamonds
5.Drop the mixture into boiling chicken stock
6.In a pot, cover and simmer 15 minutes
SERVING
7.Serve with salads
