Biscuit Dough: Recipe
This recipe for biscuit dough is easy and simple and can be baked for any homemade pie. Prepared with flour, salt, milk and baking agents, the biscuit dough is quite light.
Ingredients
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
4 tbs. shortening
1/3 tsp. salt
Milk to make a soft dough
Directions
Roll out 1/4 inch thick to fit casserole, and place over chops.
Bake at 450 F.
For 12-15 minutes.

I was craving fried biscuits sprinkled with sugar.... however, every recipe I looked at listed can of refrigerator biscuits in the ingredients!!!! I ran across this recipe and decided to give it a try. It worked fantastic!!! and was delicious!!! I flattened the dough into small thin circles and dropped it in very hot oil, it only took moments before it was golden brown. Then I rolled them in sugar. yummo!!! Thanks for sharing your recipe!
