 Boiling water3/4 Cup (16 tbs)
 Cracked wheat1/4 Cup (16 tbs)
 1/3 cup whole natural almonds
 1 pound lean ground beef or ground turkey
 1/4 cup chopped green onions
 Garlic salt1 Teaspoon
 Dried basil leaves1 Teaspoon
 Hamburger buns4
 Lettuce
 Tomato slices
 Red onion slices

Directions

Pour water over bulgur; let stand until cool.
Place almonds in single layer on baking sheet.
Bake at 350°F) 12 to 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until lightly toasted.
Cool; chop coarsely.
Drain bulgur well.
Combine bulgur, almonds, ground beef, green onions, garlic salt and basil; mix well.
Shape into 4 patties.
Grill or broll until desired doneness.
