| Cracked wheat | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1/3 cup whole natural almonds | ||
| 1 pound lean ground beef or ground turkey | ||
| 1/4 cup chopped green onions | ||
| Garlic salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Dried basil leaves | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Hamburger buns | 4 | |

Directions
Pour water over bulgur; let stand until cool.
Place almonds in single layer on baking sheet.
Bake at 350°F) 12 to 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until lightly toasted.
Cool; chop coarsely.
Drain bulgur well.
Combine bulgur, almonds, ground beef, green onions, garlic salt and basil; mix well.
Shape into 4 patties.
Grill or broll until desired doneness.
