Biafran Stew Recipe
This Biafran Stew is from my Mom's cookbook; an easy to prepare treat for any occasion! An irresitible combination of beef, chicken and veggies - this Biafran Stew is something you must not want to miss out on!
Ingredients
1 1 1/2 pound chuck steak, deboned, trimmed, and cubed
1 2 1/2 pound chicken, cut up
1 28 ounce can whole tomatoes
1 green pepper, cut into 12 chunks
1 yellow onion, peeled and chopped
1 teaspoon Tabasco or to taste
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
Brown the chuck steak.
Place all the ingredients in a large kettle with a lid, and simmer, covered, for about 1 1/2 hours, or until the chicken and beef are tender
