Bhugi Dal Recipe Video
Dal is healthy, so try this delicious recipe for yourself.
Ingredients
2 tbsp cooking oil
A pinch of asafoetida
1 tbsp green chilli chopped
1 cup yellow moong daal soaked in water for 1 hour
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
Salt to taste
1 tbsp corriander powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp dry mango powder or chat masala
Directions
Heat oil in a deep bottom pan.
When the oil is hot, add asafoetida and green chilli.
Add the dal after straining out the water. Fry a little and add some water.
Add turmeric powder and salt. Bring the dal to boil.
Cover the lid and cook on low flame.
When the daal is cooked, add coriander powder, red chilli powder and dry mango powder.
Turn off the heat and cover with lit for 5 minutes.
Dal is ready when it is soft.
