Ingredients

| Butter and shortening or salad oil - about 3 tablespoons each | ||
| White onions | 1 Can (10oz) | |
Directions
GETTING READY
1) Take the frozen okra and thaw at room temperature.
2) Cut a slit in the side of each okra and keep aside.
MAKING
3) Take the coriander, salt, turmeric, pepper and cumin together in a bowl and mix them.
4) Take 1/4 teaspoon of spice mixture and stuff them into each okras.
5) keep the okras in the refrigerator for sometime.
6) Just before serving, take a pan and pour butter and shortening.
7) Heat the butter and shortening and add the okras.
8) Stir fry the okras for 8 minutes.
SERVING
9) Serve the okras in a serving plate.
TIPS
10) If you are adding onions, you can mix the remaining spice mixture into the butter left in the pan. Add the onions and make them light brown.
11) Now add the onions to the okras in the serving plate.
