Ingredients

 
1 cup Puffed rice
 
1 cup thin sev
 
1/2 cup medium sev
 
4 flat crispy puris
 
1/2 medium sized potato
 
1/4 cup chopped onion
 
1/4 cup chopped cucumber
 
1/4 cup fruits (apple, pear)
 
10-12 roasted peanuts
 
1/2 bunch coriander leaves
 
2 tsp chat masala
 
2 tsp jal jeera masala
 
2 tbsp lemon juice
 
SWEET & SOUR DATES & TAMARIND CHUTNEY
 
1 tsp tamarind conc
 
1 cup water
 
2 tsp gur
 
4 tsp sugar
 
3 chopped dates
 
1 tsp roasted jeera powder
 
salt to taste
 
1/2 tsp red chilli powder

Directions

Mix together all the bhel ingredients.
Mix, boil, cool and then grind all the chutney ingredients.
Mix together the bhel and chutney.
Garnish with thin sev and coriander leaves.

thanks for honest opinion.....but this is BHELPURI and it looks like BHELPURI....it is garnished with thin sev and coriander leaves. And this is the bhelpuri picture prepared with my directions only....if it does not look to u then it is a BIG COMPLEMENT THANKS AGAIN!!!:) :)

O yes. I love Bhelpuri. They are popular in New York theatres too. Only thing is that the movie hall guys charge like $5-10 for it. Now that I have a detailed recipe of a classic bhelpuri thanks to Sonali, I must give it a shot at home.
