Bhel Puri Recipe

Bhel Puri is undoubtedly a very popular North-Indian snack/appetizer. Also it is an extremely common road-side snack in Mumbai and other such Indian Metropoliton Cities. If you have all the ingredients readily available at home, then its just a matter of minutes to mix all the ingredients together, top it off with some tangy chutneys and enjoy. The best part about this snack is that there is no cooking involved. Bhel Puri is an easy to fix snack when you have unexpected guests at home!

 Bombay bhel/Murmura /mamra3 Cup (48 tbs) (Swad Brand)
 Flat puris8 Small (for bhel - available at most Indian grocery stores)
 Thin sev1 Cup (16 tbs) (crispy lentil noodles)
 Thick sev1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
 Roasted groundnuts1 Cup (16 tbs)
 Chopped onions1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
 Chopped tomato1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
 Boiled diced potatoes1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
 Date tamarind chutney4 Tablespoon
 Cilantro mint chutney3 Tablespoon
 Cilantro1 Tablespoon (for garnish)

Directions

Take a large mixing bowl and add 3 cups of Bombay Bhel Mix to it.
Crumble the flat puris with your hands into small pieces and add to the bowl.
Add chopped onion, chopped tomatoes, diced potatoes, thin and thick sev, roasted peanuts.
Lastly add both the chutneys. Mix well.
Garnish with cilantro and sprinkle a little sev on top before serving
