Bharati Machli Tikka Recipe
Ingredients
White fish-1 pound, boiled and mashed
Onion-1 medium, finely chopped
Potatoes-2 medium, boiled, peeled, and mashed
Green chilies-2, finely chopped
Green ginger -1/2 teaspoon, grated
Salt- to taste
Ground black pepper -1/2 teaspoon
Coriander leaves-1 tablespoon, chopped
Egg – 1, beaten to bind
Breadcrumbs- for coating
Ghee -to fry
Directions
MAKING
1)In a bowl, mix together fish and next seven ingredients well.
2)Divide the mixture into 12 portions.
3)Grease your palm and shape the mixture into triangles.
4)Apply a coat of beaten egg on each triangle and then coat with breadcrumbs.
5)In a shallow frying pan, heat ghee and fry each triangle until golden brown from both sides.
SERVING
6)Garnish the triangles with coriander and serve with chutney.
