|Dry lentils||1 Pound, washed, sorted|
|Cured ham||8 Ounce, finely chopped|
|Water||6 Cup (96 tbs) (or as needed)|

1. In slow cooker, place washed dry lentils. Season it with salt.
2. Add chopped ham and water in it. Cook on high setting for 4 to 5 hours or until done to desired tenderness.
3. Spoon lentils into serving bowls and serve hot.
Add more water if needed.
You can also add bacon instead of ham or just cook it with salt.
