1 envelope active dry yeast
 
1 cup lukewarm water
 
3 cups flour
 
1 teaspoon salt
 
Pizza Sauce
 
3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
 
Choice of pizza toppings

Directions

Dissolve the yeast in the water.
Combine 2 1/2 cups of the flour and salt in a bowl.
Stir in the yeast mixture.
Knead on a floured surface for up to 10 minutes or until smooth and elastic, working in the remaining 1/2 cup flour.
Place in an oiled bowl, turning to coat the surface.
Let rise, covered, in a warm place for 45 to 60 minutes or until doubled in bulk.
Punch the dough down.
Let stand for 10 minutes.
Divide in half and roll into 12 inch circles on pizza pans.
Spread the Pizza Sauce over the dough.
Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
Sprinkle with desired toppings such as pepperoni and mushrooms.
Bake at 475 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes or until golden and crust is done.
