Best Ever Beef Loaf Recipe
Ingredients
| Eggs | 2 | |
| Milk | 2/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Salt | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Black pepper | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Bread slice | 3 , crumbled | |
| Onion | 1 , minced | |
| 1/2 c. shredded raw carrot 125 mL | ||
| 1 c. shredded "old" Cheddar cheese 250 mL | ||
| L 1/2 lb. medium ground beef 750 g | ||
| Brown sugar | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Ketchup | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Prepared mustard | 1 Tablespoon | |
Directions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (180° C).
Break the eggs into a large mixing bowl and beat lightly with a fork.
Beat in the milk, salt, pepper and crumbled bread crumbs; beat until the bread disintegrates.
Add the onion, carrot, cheese and ground beef; mix well and pack into a 9" x 5" (23 x 13 cm) loaf pan.
Combine the brown sugar, ketchup and prepared mustard; spread over top of the loaf.
Bake for approximately 1 hour and let stand 10 minutes before removing from the loaf pan.
Serve hot or cold.
