Ingredients
| 2 tablespoons fat, from pan drippings | ||
| All purpose flour | 2 Tablespoon | |
| 2 1/4 cups unsalted chicken or beef broth | ||
| 2 to 4 tablespoons pan juices | ||
| Salt & freshly ground pepper | ||
Directions
In a medium size saucepan melt the fat over medium heat.
Whisk in the flour, stirring vigorously to form a paste.
Gradually pour in the broth, whisking constantly, until the gravy thickens, boils, and no lumps remain.
Add the pan juices.
Reduce the heat to low and simmer, stirring often, for 3 to 4 minutes.
Season with salt and pepper.
Serve immediately.
