Besan Sev Ki Barfi Recipe
Ingredients
| 2 cups readymade saltless sev | ||
| Sugar | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1 tbsp sliced nuts and raisins | ||
| Cardamom powder | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Khoya | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Rose essence | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Saffron | 1 Teaspoon | |
Directions
Add 1/2 cup water to sugar and cook till the syrup is of a two thread consistency.
Add khoya and blend.
Remove from fire.
Add broken sev, nuts, raisins, cardamom powder and essence.
Pour onto a greased plate and cool.
Cut into squares and serve at room temperature.
