Bermuda Beet Salad Recipe

Ingredients
1 medium-size Bermuda onion, sliced
2 medium-size tart red apples, thinly sliced
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/4 cup cider vinegar
1/2 teaspoon caraway seeds
1 teaspoon tamari or soy sauce
5 beets, cooked, peeled, and thinly sliced
Directions
Separate the onion slices into rings and place in a 1- to 1 1/2-quart glass or enamel serving dish.
Arrange the apple slices over the onion rings.
Mix together the lemon juice, vinegar, caraway seeds, and tamari in a small bowl or jar.
Pour over the apples and onions.
Toss the beets with the apple and onion mixture.
Marinate in the refrigerator for about 4 hours and toss before serving.
