Ingredients

 
Canned Sliced Beets – 2 (1 pound)
 
Canned Pineapple Chunks – 1 (13 ½ ounce)
 
Water – ½ cup
 
Cider Vinegar – 1/3 cup
 
Cornstarch – 1 tablespoon
 
Salt – ½ teaspoon
 
Brown Sugar – 4 tablespoon
 
Ginger – 1/8 teaspoon

Directions

MAKING
1) In a bowl, drain the beets and the pineapple reserving the juice
2) In a saucepan add the reserved pineapple juice, blend the pineapple syrup, water, vinegar, cornstarch, salt and sugar and cook till thickened
3) Add in the beets and bring to a boiling point
4) Fold in the pineapple chunks, and heat through

SERVING
5) Serve immediately
