Beets with orange Recipe
Ingredients
| Sugar | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Cornstarch | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Cider vinegar | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Water | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Grated rind and juice of 1 orange | ||
| 3 1/2 cups cooked or canned small beets, drained | ||
| Butter | 3 Tablespoon | |
Directions
1. In a saucepan mix the sugar, cornstarch, salt, vinegar and water and bring to a boil. Stir until clear.
2. Stir in the orange rind and juice and the beets. Heat gently and, before serving, stir in the butter.
