Beet Relish Recipe
Ingredients
4 cups chopped cooked beets
4 cups chopped cabbage
1/2 cup grated horse radish
2 teaspoons salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
2 cups vinegar
1 cup sugar
Directions
Combine the beets, cabbage and horse-radish and season with salt and pepper.
Scald the vinegar, dissolve the sugar in it and add it to the first mixture.
Cook until vegetables are tender.
Seal in hot sterilized jars.
