Beet Pickles Recipe
Ingredients
Syrup:
3 cups vinegar
1 cup water
4 cups sugar
2 tablespoons mixed spice in bag
Directions
Boil beets with 2 tablespoons salt until tender.
Skin and cut larger ones.
Boil five minutes.
Add beets to boiling syrup and bring to boil again.
Pack in sterilized sealers and seal.
