Beet Cabbage Relish Recipe
Ingredients
1 cup chopped onion
1 quart cooked beets, shredded
1 quart cabbage, shredded
1 cup grated horseradish
4 teaspoons salt
1 3/4 cups vinegar
3/4 cup sugar
Directions
1. Combine in a saucepan the onion, beets, cabbage, horseradish and salt.
2. Heat the vinegar, dissolve the sugar in it and add to the vegetables. Boil ten minutes. Pack in hot sterile jars and seal.
