Beer Beef Kabobs Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 pound boneless beef sirloin, cut in 1 1/2-inch cubes | ||
| 1 12-ounce bottle dark or light beer | ||
| Onion | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), diced | |
| Cooking oil | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Curry powder | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Ground ginger | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Dash garlic powder | ||
| Large whole fresh mushrooms | ||
| Green pepper square | 1 | |
Directions
Place beef cubes in shallow dish.
Combine beer, onion, oil, salt, curry powder, ginger, and garlic powder; pour over beef.
Marinate 3 hours at room temperature.
Drain meat, reserving marinade.
Using 3 or 4 skewers, thread meat alternately on skewers with mushrooms and pepper pieces.
Place kabobs on cold rack of broiler pan.
Broil kabobs 3 to 4 inches from heat, 7 to 8 minutes; brush with a little of the reserved marinade.
Turn; broil kabobs 3 to 4 minutes longer, brushing often with reserved marinade.
