1)On a large skillet add the chopped onions and ground beef and brown the meat. Drain off any excess grease.
2)Add stewed tomatoes and sugar and bring to a boil.
3)Add macaroni and reduce heat and cover with lid.
4)Simmer for about 15 - 20 minutes or until macaroni is tender. Stir occasionally.
5)Serve topped with grated Parmesan cheese and enjoy!
