Beefy Baked Beans Recipe

1/2 pound ground beef
1 (31-ounce) can pork and beans
1 medium onion, chopped
1/2 green pepper, chopped
1/2 cup catsup
1/2 cup dark corn syrup
2 tablespoons prepared mustard
4 slices bacon, cut in half
Directions
Cook ground beef until browned, stirring to crumble meat.
Drain well.
Combine beef and next 6 ingredients; stir well.
Spoon mixture into a lightly greased 12- x 8- x 2-inch baking dish.
Arrange bacon on top of beans.
Bake at 400° for 40 minutes.
