Beefy Pizza Subs Recipe
Ingredients

| Red pepper flakes | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| 1 1/2 cups thinly sliced cooked flank steak or 6 oz deli roast beef, cut into strips | ||
| 3/4 cup pizza sauce or tomato pasta sauce | ||
| 4 crusty rolls (8-inch [20 cm] length) | ||
| 6 oz thinly sliced mild provolone or mozzarella cheese | ||

Directions
1. In a large nonstick skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add mushrooms, green pepper, onion, garlic, basil and red pepper flakes; cook, stirring, for 5 minutes or until softened. Stir in beef and pizza sauce; cook until heated through. Remove from heat; season with salt and pepper to taste.
2. Cut rolls along 1 side and open; layer with cheese slices. Place on baking sheet under preheated broiler for 1 minute or until cheese melts. Watch carefully. Spoon beef mixture into rolls.
