Beefy Bean Burrito Sandwiches Recipe
Ingredients
| Ground beef | 1/2 pound | |
| Onion | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Garlic | 1 Clove (5gm), minced | |
| Refried beans | 1/2 Ounce | |
| Green chili peppers | 2 Tablespoon, chopped | |
| Few dashes bottled hot pepper sauce | ||
| Flour tortillas | 4 10 inch | |
| Shredded Cheddar cheese | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Taco sauce | ||
Directions
In a medium skillet cook beef, onion, and garlic till meat is brown and onion is tender; drain off fat.
Stir in beans, chili peppers, and hot pepper sauce till well combined.
Set aside.
Wrap tortillas in foil; heat in a 350° oven for 10 minutes.
Unwrap tortillas and spoon about 1/2 cup meat mixture down center of each tortilla.
Sprinkle with 1 cup cheese; roll up, leaving ends open.
Seal in heavy-duty foil, label, and freeze.
To serve, bake frozen sandwiches, wrapped in foil, in a 375° oven for 35 to 40 minutes or till heated through.
Serve with taco sauce.
Top with additional shredded cheddar cheese and lettuce, if desired.
